This is the 4th part of the book series "I Am Consciousness"
We highly recommend you read the previous parts before commencing this one.

In this part aptly titled "Kill The Ego!" David decides to stay back at the ashram while everyone else leaves. David decides he’s not going back until he realizes his true Self and spends a few months there. He helps out at the ashram, serves other seekers and does everything as he had understood it. However, he still hasn’t realized the Self and finally out of frustration he confronts Swamiji.

Swamiji decides to do something that he has never done before with any other seeker. They have a one-on-one closed room conversation in which Swamiji is at his best. He corners David from every possible angle and smashes every excuse David can come up with, about the one claiming not to have realized Brahman. David too pulls out all his defensive shields and weapons ready to attack the one who is trying to kill him.

An explosive conversation takes place and finally, David decides that he's had enough of all these philosophical talks and promising theories that seemed unrealistic and unpractical. "It's time to go home, I've wasted enough time. Swamiji may be enlightened or not but it could be all one big hoax as well, who knows?" thinks David to himself.

To be fair, David did everything Swamiji asked of him. Swamiji knew without a doubt that David was truly a genuine and sincere seeker who was hungry to the core for God. Above all this, Swamiji knew for CERTAIN that there was no way that David was going to survive this conversation. Swamiji had seen his own Guru do this only once, and that to, to a very dear disciple.

David was very dear to Swamiji too, he loved his sincerity, honest nature and had become fond of him over the few months as well. He wasn’t going to let David go back without giving him his best shot. He remembered his Guru’s words, “A good Spiritual Master is like a Tiger. Once the prey is caught in the tiger’s teeth, it doesn’t let go until the prey perishes.”

Swamiji knew without a doubt that he had injected the most feared words into David’s mind and that it would only be a matter of time before his ego would literally destroy itself without any more external help. No Spiritual Master would do this unless the disciple proved to be worthy of it.

As David checks into Indira Gandhi International Airport ready with boarding pass in hand to fly back to New York City, it finally happens and David cannot comprehend what was happening as it was happening. It was nothing like what he had been told since his arrival. It could not be described in words.

• My kid's birthday is coming up and she will be excited when she sees this. The calendar is the same nice quality as last year's Pusheen calendar, which I also got her. This year's has a different cover, the mermaid is cute. The paper is glossy and thick and seems pretty durable. Pusheen collectors will love it.

• This calendar was worth the money! So cute and rigid! I love how thick the paper is. And the stickers that came with it. I will be feeling happy in 2019!
• I love Pusheen so obviously a Pusheen wall calendar for my office space was a must. The paper is shiny and thick and I really like the 12-pack of stickers that came with it. The reason I am giving this 4 stars instead of 5 is that it seems that there are two versions of the 2019 wall calendar...a US version (this one) and a UK version. While the UK version is costlier, the illustrations are far more beautiful and I'd prefer if that option was more widely available to US customers.
  
  Still, for the price and quality (and the fact that it's Pusheen!), I highly recommend this.
• This is everything you could ever want in a calendar. It has months. Days of the week (they are numbered). Also comes with a sheet of stickers!
  
  I got one of these for Christmas last year and was sad not to receive the same gift this year. So I ordered one for myself! And at less than $8 you can't beat the price. 3
• I purchased a 2018 calendar last year and loved it. So it was a natural choice to buy another one. The stickers the calendar comes with are cute too, but the same ones last years calendar came with. Would be nice to see different stickers each year.
• This calendar is super cute but it’s missing two months!!! February and October are just two giant blank pages. Not cool. My daughter was super disappointed when she opened it up on Christmas.
• Same stickers from the year before, wish they would change the sticker themes since they have come out with new characters, but absolutely adorable. Love that my birth month is a mermaid. Good condition, good quality.

• I was interested in the history of sewing - clothing, tapestries, utilitarian items. This book does provide some of this. I"m stalled about halfway through the book. It's not boring, I just can't get into it because of competing activities (gardening, quilting).

• If you enjoy reading on a , save some money and buy the e-version. There are no photos in this book; it is text only. I purchased the paperback and wish I had tried the version first.

• This is such an exceptional read. If you have any interest in art, sewing, fashion or textiles, this book is a must. If you want to expand your understanding of the roles and impact women have had though history, pick this book up. If you enjoy exploring the human experience, add this book to the top of your list.
• I am not sure if I will finish this book. It is disconcerting that a major historical error made it through the author's research and her editor's fact-checking on PAGE 3 of her book. Harold was NOT the son of King Edward the Confessor; he was his brother-in-law. A son would have sealed the succession and there would have been no reason for the turmoil of 1066. What other errors are written here?

• I couldn’t put the book down! Janice Dean wrote such a fascinating book about what it’s like to work on TV - Fox News and Don Imus especially - and the dynamic of smilimg for the audience while fighting behind the scenes with harassment and hostility. The other aspect of the book that is equally as interesting is how she has faced living with Multiple Sclerosis in the public eye but never let it define her or affect her gratitude for her family and friends and blessings. You can just tell from the book that she’s a genuinely good person and that why she’s had such a successful career with the audience. This is a must read if you’re interested in what goes on behind the scenes in TV or if you need a guide book for overcoming life’s challenges and staying optimistic.
• I really tried to like this book. I just couldn't. The issues the author discusses are so superficial and some are downright self indulgent. Her father had to leave her graduation. There might be a darn good reason he had to leave, yet this wasn't considered, instead-she ridicules and vows to never ever treat her kids like that and exploits her father's perceived shortcomings to the world. How embarrassing for dad. For all you know, he had a panic attack. He could have had diarrhea. Maybe he was too embarrassed to tell why he had to leave-but the point is, he WAS there for hours. Then to go on and discuss potential sexual abuse by Roger who is deceased, and other non-specific items that have nothing to do with the advertised book tour reason for the book which is author's MS diagnosis. It just all sounds like an entitled self-serving rant. There are hundred of pages of problems that are not really problems that are serious-other than the MS diagnosis...the author feels very sorry for herself throughout the book all while describing a rise to fame, a paid for education, a gifted US citizenship, beauty, a blessed marriage, kids, and other endowments that she can't seem to see through the "whoa is me" run ons. The author's MS isn't even brought up until page 107 in the book. Then it's so non-specific, it isn't even clear what the author's symptoms are. This is not a helpful book. I have a loved one with MS. This is not inspiring. I was very disappointed. This is more like the view of a Hollywood elite complaining about her housekeeper missing the dust on the corner of her 20 thousand dollar dresser.
• Loved this book! Loved Janice Dean's honesty and candor. Her struggle with MS very interesting. It was just a really good book that I read straight through. Will recommend .
• I love how you shared your life, the good and the bad. I love how you shared about your journey to get where you are now. I love how excited you were when you met certain talents, as well as some disappointment along the way, people you were so excited to get the chance to meet but for certain reasons were not able to.
  I love how you told us how you met the love of your life, your beautiful two Sons, how sweet and loving they are and once diagnosed with MS, how supportive your husband and others so close to you have been. These people are also many of these people are in the same business as you and personalities so many of us admire.
  I love how you shared several things that happened to you over the years that were very scary and you did this to help others in case it might help someone else, including the MS you have suffered through.
  You shared so many stories that so many of us could relate to.
  There was not one boring second in this book. I love you Janice Dean, you are so sweet, and such caring person. You never appeared to be a feel sorry for me type of person. You are a fighter in so many ways, not in a bad way. You love people, of course your family, and so many friends who have been true to you!
  I am glad God made you exactly as he did, or you wouldn't be who you are.
  God Bless to you and your family, and all those who suffer from MS and any disease that robs any one from the wonderful life we should have. I pray with all my heart for a cure of this disease very soon.
  I give this ***** I couldn't give it any less! Sincerely, a true fan of Janice Deans- love her huge smile, beautiful eyes that smile as much as her mouth.
• Appears to be an open & honest report on life (so far) of one of FoxNews’ most charming & delightful reporters. It is important to understand that celebrity lives are not always about glamour & wealth. Sometimes life has adversities, and you deal with them as Janice Dean has been doing. • Diana Gabaldon consistently delivers for her fans. This novella, Virgins, is yet another mini installment in the "behind the story" story that she presents to us in an attempt to give us a glimpse into events that were spoken of but never really explored fully in her book series. Everyone that loves Outlander and her other books LOVES Jamie Fraser and can't get enough of these mini stories to keep us going between books. This is definitely NOT a stand alone story and you wouldn't have a clue as to what was going on if you didn't read the Outlander series, or at the very least, the first book itself.
  
  Ian and Jamie are young in this story, Jamie just having escaped from confinement in an English prison. He has just encountered his nemesis, Black Jack, for the first time and is lucky to be alive. Ian is traveling with a band of mercenaries and Jamie hopes to join them in the hopes of staying clear of Scotland and staying close to the one man he trusts like a brother. What I liked about this is that Jamie is very young here and we have had little exposure to him at that age. He is a naïve boy who has just suffered extreme punishment and lost his father and homeland quite suddenly. He's trying to fit in among these seasoned men in France and he is just learning the ropes. I almost feel like a fly on the wall! That is where our story begins, and I doubt you will be disappointed. Hold on to your kilt!
  
  It took me about 3 hours this morning to finish, in between a few phone calls and laundry. It's a great prelude to the second season of Outlander beginning on STARZ tomorrow! Now I REALLY can't wait!
• Outlander is a series of novels that follow the lives of Claire, a WWII combat nurse who travels back in time to the 1740s, and her second husband, James Fraser, a Scottish laird. These books can't really be classified by genre, since they include history, drama, adventure, romance, mystery, sci-fi/fantasy . . . a little of everything, really.
  
  For those who are desperate for a Jamie and Claire fix, this should help ease the withdrawal pangs until the next (ninth) book comes out. Like some of the other short stories Diana Gabaldon has written, it fills in one of the gaps in the main characters' lives, exploring a period that we knew little about. It's longer than your typical short story, but nowhere near novel-length---especially a Diana Gabaldon novel! It's called a novella, which is either a very short novel or a very long short story. Either way, it doesn't take long to read.
  
  The story takes place shortly after Jamie escapes from Fort William, after being flogged (twice) by Black Jack Randall. Forced to flee Scotland because of the price on his head, Jamie goes to France, where he joins his best friend Ian as a mercenary-for-hire. After proving their worth as braw fighters, they're asked to escort a young Jewish bride and her priceless dowry to her husband-to-be in another part of the country, but as always, where James Alexander Malcolm Mackenzie Fraser goes, trouble always follows.
  
  For those familiar with the Outlander series, you probably won't be surprised to learn that there is a rather graphic rape scene in this story. Every one of the books contains at least one sexual assault, and this short story is no exception. Interestingly, the scene in question is one that's mentioned in "Outlander" by Jamie on his wedding night to Claire. It's a throwaway line, something he says in passing, but the author clearly remembered and decided to expand upon it. It helps tie this story to the main series. Not that I couldn't have lived without the rape scene, but if it has to be there, at least it's connected. And it has an impact on the characters, so t's not gratuitous; it has a purpose, which makes it easier to bear.
  
  The only real flaw in this story is that Claire is missing. But since it takes place long before Jamie meets her, it's forgivable. Four stars and recommended to anyone who loves the Outlander series.
• I was a late-comer to the Outlander series having not read the first novel, 'Outlander,' until mid-2014. Once started however, I read the existing books in the series in rapid succession and then waited breathlessly for 'Written in My Own Heart's Blood.' I wish I could say that each successive book was as perfect as 'Outlander,' but that is not the case. I still enjoyed each reading experience, but not as much as my 'first time.' Which brings me now to 'Virgins,' a novella of Jamie and Ian as mercenaries.
  
  'Virgins' reminds me of why I fell in love with Jamie and the whole Outlander universe. From the opening scene to the last word, the reader is treated to Jamie's courage, strength and heart, all firmly in place and well developed pre-Claire. Diana Gabaldon lets us inside Jamie's deep mourning and wracking guilt over the death of his father as well as his on-going worry over his sister, Jenny, in the wake of Black Jack Randall's mayhem. We see Ian as a whole, strong man as well as the dynamic of his relationship to Jamie in a way we've never seen it before. What 'Virgins' does is that it gives us another dimension to both characters that makes them, if possible, even more compelling.
  
  Bottom line it's a solid read. Don't be put off, if you've read the main series, by thinking that this short story can't add anything to an already richly tapestried world. What you'll read is the glorious mix of heart breaking pathos, laugh-out-loud humor, and action that is vintage Diana Gabaldon. Read it. You won't be sorry.

  Good read! If you want to know the truth on how the Mueller Special Counsel wielded the full power of a corrupt US Intelligence machine to try and illegally remove President Trump from office, read this book. George Papadopoulos was clearly framed by nefarious characters hell bent on shoving a false hoax on the American people. The names of who should now be counter investigated are all exposed by name in this book! It's time to go after the snakes in our midst! And Stefan Halper, aka the fat (walrus)! Seriously FBI? They act all "we can't reveal the informants name for National Security reason" . Come on! He was already caught spying for George HW Bush's campaign in 1980 to spy on Jimmy Carter's foreign policy. Can't they even find an unknown "informant" that's not 74 years old and two steps from a heart attack! He already got caught once spying in American elections while under the services of the CIA! Nice job FBI/CIA. Gives this American lots of faith in protecting our Country.... It's only expected that the news coming out today is that HW Bush voted for Hillary Clinton before he died and Barbara blamed her heart attack on Trump! Go figure. They're all in cahoots!
  How about Alexander Downer? Has direct ties to the Clinton Foundation through millions in donations. How about you elite Australians get out and talk to the Aborigines in your own country and stay out of American politics! Looks like Australian leadership is ignoring the hard workers in Australia just like our elite ignore the hard workers in middle America who are paying the elite fat cats in Washington to ridicule them!
  All I have to say to our grand US intelligence system, FBI/DOJ/CIA is go back and pick up a book on Spycraft for Dummies. Start from the beginning! And I'm not talking about low and middle seniority agents in those organizations! I'm sure there are ethical, hard working smart people as the worker bees in those organizations. I'm talking about the top level, tainted leadership! My advice is to move on and let those not corrupted by power DO THEIR JOBS! Top level brass in these organizations have already shown themselves to the common man that they CAN be bought to the point of jeopardizing our National Security. To me, that's a CLEAR AND PRESENT DANGER to the United States!
  Who should be of extreme interest to everyone now is the true motives and connections of the mysterious Joseph Misfud! As of now, he has "disappeared" with no knowledge of his whereabouts. I contend someone knows where he is and what his alias is. And I'll wager connections within the Clinton Foundation know exactly where he is hiding! Wouldn't surprise me that he's hiding in Hillary's basement where her servers used to sit! He is no more a Russian spy than my cat is Peter the Great!
  The Ukraine is the true collusion! Ukraine colluded with the DNC along with Trump hating sources on British, Australian, Israeli, Ukranian, Turkish and God knows how many other intellegence agencies to attempt a Clinton win and they got stomped by middle America!
  If Misfud is a Russian spy, then why has he worked with CNNs "Freedom Project" and the FBI and CIA are silent about this??? He in fact is a deep state CIA operative! It will all come out eventually.
  
  A personal observation; I believe in my heart George is a man of true integrity. I believe he is the Patsy in this grand scheme. The man is very trusting to the point of being too trusting, or dare I say, very naive. That does not make him evil. Quite the contrary!
  
  Always follow the money! Money and sex are the currencies of power and always have been.
  
  BTW, I just deleted my Facebook account too. Does that mean I should spend 25 years in a federal penitentiary for obstruction of justice? I didn't even get approval from a lawyer! I just did it. I've had beautiful women, some wearing no clothes send me friend requests claiming to be from Countries all over the World. Maybe they were Soviet honey pots! Who knows?

I've never seen such a sorry example of a company that has been paid the millions of dollars they have been fronted to spy, (research) on American citizens for the purpose of destroying them. It looks like a 3rd grade could put together a more professional webpage! I say open their files FBI! Start digging there! They are covered in more dirt than those they searched for dirt on. And while you're at it, put a crack team on Crowdstrike. Even the FBI was not allowed by the DNC to investigate their so called server hack. The DNC basically said "no thanks FBI, we got Crowdstrike looking into it" Hiding something, DNC?
• If you want to really get mad at The deep state deception in trying to create a Russian conspiracy in the Trump campaign, read this book.
• This book reads like a spy novel, but it isn’t a novel! The set-up is positively frightening. Who thought this scheme up? The Deep State devised a plan to use this man to prove Trump colluded with Russia. They took pictures, recorded him and tried to get him to say things. It takes place all over the world in luxury hotels with beautiful spies. I tell you, this should be a darned movie. Read it. Then be angry. The Mueller Investigation was BS from the start.
