The Bump Pregnancy Planner Journal Carley Roney The Editors of ThebumpCom 9780804185806 Books Reviews
- This pregnancy planner & journal is really nice and well-made. It would be perfect if it had a blank calendar and a place to write your own "to-do" checklist. Even adding a few blank "Notes" page at the end would be a very helpful addition to this book. I'm surprised, really, there isn't space anywhere for unprompted writing. Also, note that the Gift Log section where you can track gifts and thank you cards only has 13 spots, so if you imagine that you'll be having a large baby shower (or multiple celebrations!), you likely won't be able to fit everyone into the book. The book I had with my first pregnancy also had a section to track things that I borrowed from other moms, which was very helpful so that I could remember where to return them when I was done! Overall, I enjoy the journal aspects of this planner, and it still has just enough organizational sections to keep me on track (which is what I really wanted).
- Practical help to get through this mysterious time of the bump growing inside you. Pockets to store your sonogram and other keepsakes. Definitely a must especially if you are planning more children. You will have the details to compare your pregnancies that would otherwise just slip through your fingers and hound your attempts and recall. So keep a record. This little book is meant for that and it does it very well.
- I purchased this for my second pregnancy, after buying the same one and liking it for my first child. I like recording all my doc appointments and also answering all the journal questions each month. I think it’s a great keepsake to give to my kids someday. The hard cover and spiral set up make it very durable too.
- Just thought this was okay. I would have preferred if it at least had a calendar in it. The book is separated by trimesters and has three pockets for you to put things in like photos and notes. Probably would not recommend this book to a first time mom to be. I recommend the 40 Weeks + The Essential Pregnancy Organizer (The Essential Organizers) Spiral-bound. Used this for my first pregnancy and it was great.
- I was given this journal as a gift a few months into my pregnancy and it was such a huge help in making me feel more organized! It has an incredibly helpful checklist that goes week by week so it's not overwhelming and the different sections talk about what you may be experiencing during that time. I now give it to all of my pregnant friends.
- Great journal with tons of places to capture what's happening in the pregnancy along the way. There are a couple places for photos, but you'd have to cut your photo and paste it on. And there are 3 folders to save things, but they don't display in the journal, just for saving.
- I love this planner. It has everything from to do lists and check lists, to questions to ask your doctor, and pockets to keep sentimental items. It is definitely going to the hospital with me.
- The product arrived when it was scheduled to. However, the cover is scuffed up. I’m really bummed becuse it looks cute otherwise but the cover looks just awful!
